We inspect the roof decking to make sure it is smooth, and there aren’t any cracks or gaps in the deck. Underlayment: Underlayment is typically a sheet of waterproof felt or synthetic material. This is an additional layer of waterproofing to protect your home. We also use an insulated bubble pad that reduces sounds and adds an R-value of 4.

Fastening Methods: There are two main methods for fastening metal roofing sheets. These are:
